The Challenge
Katadyn’s annual Water Solutions and Innovation Presentation event needed to be documented in a way that would resonate with industry stakeholders and social media audiences across Africa. The goal was to showcase what happened, how people responded, and create a sense of genuine industry interest. However, the event faced real constraints: fewer attendees than anticipated, intense sun conditions challenging our camera equipment, and the need to extract meaningful testimonials that felt authentic rather than scripted.

We approached this as a documentary project rather than a standard event recap. Our strategy involved building genuine relationships with attendees before asking for testimonials, using strategic questioning to elicit authentic responses about the products and innovations. We filmed live product demonstrations of both the Aquifer 3000 and MF7, capturing real reactions and genuine interest. Timing our drone shots and camera angles carefully, we managed the challenging sunlight to our advantage, creating dramatic establishment shots that made the venue feel dynamic and purposeful. We captured five powerful testimonials edited in documentary style, maintaining authentic conversational tone rather than polished corporate delivery. The final edit told a coherent story: Katadyn’s leadership in water solutions, the genuine enthusiasm of industry professionals, and the real-world applications of both products.

WWF Kenya - Documentary
The Challenge
WWF Kenya needed a compelling documentary to bring visibility to the waste pickers of Mombasa a community at the frontline of waste management whose stories are rarely told. The film needed to be emotionally resonant and professionally produced, capable of representing both the human dimension and the broader environmental mission of WWF’s work in the region.

Working in collaboration with a coproduction partner, Bidii Creatives took primary responsibility for the storytelling and editing of the documentary. Our role was to shape the raw footage into a cohesive, emotionally compelling narrative finding the human thread within the environmental story and ensuring the film had the impact and craft that an organisation of WWF’s standing requires.
This meant making deliberate editorial choices: which voices to foreground, how to structure the arc, how to balance the personal with the political, and how to maintain visual quality and pacing throughout. The result honoured the dignity of the waste pickers while clearly communicating the environmental stakes.

The Challenge
Katadyn Group, a leading Swiss brand in outdoor water filtration, needed high quality photo and video coverage of their product launch event in Kenya. The Challenge
Maestro Homes needed an educational video to attract and educate investor prospects about real estate investment opportunities. The challenge was explaining complex investment concepts and market dynamics in an engaging, visually compelling way that converted viewers from prospects into active investors. We built a hybrid approach combining live-action footage with strategic animation. Rather than overwhelming viewers with details, we deployed animation at crucial decision points, when explaining market growth visualizations, investment structures, and financial returns. The video was designed as a pre-sales tool: prospects watched it before sales calls, arriving with a clear understanding of the investment thesis. This approach dramatically shortened sales conversations and allowed Maestro’s team to focus on objection handling and closing rather than foundational education. A premium property in Nairobi required sophisticated marketing video to attract high-net-worth buyers.
